Commentary on Revelation

I have studied Revelation for many years, and have shared my conclusions in this popular level commentary, soon to be published by High Calling Concepts.

Commentary on Hebrews

Hebrews is one of the most doctrinally important books of the New Testament, showing that a deep understanding of God's plan for our salvation is a crucial element to our ability to stand faithful in the face of persecutions and other pressures. This will be published by High Calling Concepts.

Biblical Hermeneutics

For years I have taught Hermeneutics (the science and art of interpreting the Bible) to ministerial students around the world. I've assembled my class materials and handouts in this book. I am convinced that it will help anyone who is deeply interested in becoming more knowledgeable of the Bible and its life changing message. This will soon be published by High Calling Concepts

I began my Christian ministry in 1974, and have been actively involved in every form of Christian ministry since then. I have worked as the local minister at the same congregation twice (Newport News, Virginia and Clyattville, Georgia). I have also worked as a local minister in East Ridge, Tennessee, and since 1997 in Marion, Arkansas.

I was one of the three students of the Memphis School of Preaching who began the Marion Church of Christ, in Marion, Arkansas, and have been their pulpit minster full time since 1997.

In addition I and my wife Carolyn have served as a house-parents for the Rainbow Children's Home in Dasher, Georgia. I also was the Bible instructor for the Georgia Christian School for two years

Of course, since 2007 I have focused my mission work also on the Purpose and Vision Missions of the Marion Church of Christ (click here)

In addition to my teaching ministry at local congregations, and at the Georgia Christian School, I have been a college-level instructor of New Testament, Hermeneutics, and Personal Finance at Amridge University for many years.
